The concept of Heaven Simone emerged during the summer of 2003 while Stacey was working with the youth of her church (Bethel MBC). While working to nurture new relationships, specifically with young women, Stacey observed a lack of self-esteem, confidence and spiritual confirmation. The need was realized to connect with a progressive generation, and tomorrow's leaders.
The question then posed was, How can we speak to our young women with an encouraging message that promotes self-worth, empowerment and God's unconditional love for his creation?
With a strong background in entertainment and fashion, Stacey began to analyze the fashion market and noticed an absence of savvy Christian attire that adopted modern trends. What she envisioned was a fashion line that you would feel proud to wear, not only to church, but anywhere your lifestyle might lead you. Thus the revelation of "wear your faith" was birthed, and the company's mantra: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:" Psalm 139:14.
